Photo Inspiration-Incorporating a Brand and Messaging
Brand and messaging. These two things are so important at a fundraising gala. I drill this into my clients repeatedly. Of course there are virtually unlimited possibilities if you're working with a large event budget, but you don't need that to be effective. Simple, straigtforward consistency is the key to communicating your brand at an event.
I was recently in Sun Valley, ID for the annual wine auction for Sun Valley Center for the Arts. They do a fantastic job of incorporating brand and messaging into their event and I thought I would share some of my photos.
First up is the auction catalogue and signage. You can see that they took the same background image and translated it from the cover of the catalogue to the silent auction displays to sponsor table signage.
For entry signage and around the reception and silent auction area, they took quotes from patrons and program participants and translated them into black signs with white script writing. They selected quotes that told the story of the impact made by the arts center as well as showing the breadth and depth of their program.
And inside the main tent, they decorated the walls with large banners that further reinforced the story of their organization. As a fun touch at the end of the evening, select desserts were adorned with tiny signs to say Thank You to their guests.
